Day tour to Theth village, Blue Eye and Grunas waterfall with Kaki Tours.

This adventurous trip is designed with active people in mind, traveling from Durrës to the village of Theth. This tour is carried out in small groups (max. 18 people), and includes two hikes to waterfalls. We will leave the city area for one day to immerse ourselves in the Albanian Alps (known as the Accursed Mountains), and experience the atmosphere of northern Albania. In addition to hiking, together with a guide, you will also visit the Kulla isolation tower, where you will learn more about the famous Kanuni i Lekë Dukagjinit customary law, which influences the customs of the local community.

The village of Theth is located in the Albanian Alps, or as this range is most often called – the Accursed Mountains. The village of Theth is approximately 70 km away from the city of Shkodër. It is part of the Shala commune, located in the Dukagjin region. A winding (asphalt) mountain road leads to Theth, where we will find a village of stone houses surrounded by white mountain peaks, and meadows full of wildflowers.

* General physical fitness, resistance to high temperatures, and appropriate sports footwear with good grip and tread are required. The minimum age of participants for hiking is 7 years. The guide has the right to refuse participation in the hike to people under the influence of alcohol, or with poor physical fitness.
