Millimetres 2 Mountains: Albania The Accursed mountains

Day 1
After we land in Tirana we start our journey from the airport towards the accursed mountains. Theth is located at 600 meters above sea level. We check in at the Guesthouse and have our first dinner.
Day 2
Hike: Theth(Grunasi waterfall, Tower)-Nderlysaj, Blue Eye (6h, 600m ascent, 900m descent). After breakfast, we have 2 hikes, the first one to Grunasi waterfall and the second one to Blue Eye. At the Blue Eye we eat our packed picnic lunch, and to the guest house we go back in the afternoon. Dinner at the guest house
Day 3
Hike: Theth-Valbone pass (8h, 16km, 1100m ascent, 900 descent) One of the greatest and most popular hikes in Albania, the epic Theth to Valbona hike runs through the spectacular Albanian Alps. Breakfast at the guest house, packed picnic lunch during hike and dinner at the guest house in Valbona.
Day 4
Hike: Valbone-Rosi pass (6h, 11km, 1000m ascent) Rosi summit lies on the border between Albania and Montenegro and offers stunning views over both countries. Rosi Mountain is especially interesting for botanists because the endemic Albanian lily flower can be found there. Breakfast at the guest house, packed picnic lunch during hike and dinner at the guest house in Valbona.
Day 5
Hike: Valbone-Snake meadows (5h, 8km, 800m ascent, 800m descent) We need a short transfer to the beginning of the trail. A hike to another village, famous for plump productions out of which locals make rakia, the local alcohol. Breakfast at the guest house, packed picnic lunch during hike and dinner at the guest house in Valbona.
Day 6
Breakfast, checkout, then transfer by car to Fierza harbor (1.5h drive). From there we take the ferry through the magnificent Koman lake (2h), which is encircled by the rocky walls of the Accursed Mountains. From Koman harbor we start our transfer to Tirana with a stop for lunch at Mrizi i Zanave Agrotourism. We arrive in Tirana in the afternoon and after we visit the city we have the last meal together (optional).
Day 7
Breakfast, checkout, transfer to the airport.
- 6 nights Half Board.
- Breakfasts and dinners at guesthouses. Picnic lunch during hikes. Lunch at Mrizi i Zanave Agrotourism on the last day.
- Transport from Mother Teresa Airport in Tirana on the day of arrival for the group arriving at ……. For arrivals at times other than those specified, a transfer can be arranged for an additional fee of 200 euros.
- Transport to Mother Teresa Airport in Tirana on the day of the end of the expedition for the group departing at…….. For flights at times other than those specified, it is possible to organize a transfer by taxi for 20 euros. Bus with air conditioning and microphone during the entire stay according to the program.
